FIA will be conducting a special meeting on Tuesday, 8/8/17 at 2pm at General Motors (3201 Fairfax Trafficway KCK 66115) for Fairfax businesses to attend.
We have two major highway projects underway that will be effecting traffic in and out of Fairfax. We encourage any business that has a lot of shipments in and out of Fairfax and/or employees coming to work to attend.
Burns & McDonnell, KDot and MARC will be presenting information on the following 2 major highway projects that will be effecting traffic in and out of the Fairfax District:
The first one, the Lewis & Clark viaduct project, will shut down part of westbound I-70 beginning Feb 2018 for 2 years.
Information and ideas are also being gathered for the eventual reconstruction of the North Loop/Buck O’Neil Bridge project also effecting entrances and exits for the Fairfax District.
