About Dr. Tami Bartunek

Dr. Bartunek’s background includes work in the public higher education sector and private business, as well as a Ph.D. in Human Capital Management. With over 20 years of experience, she brings a steadfast dedication to growth through attainment of mission driven goals. She gives back to the community by serving on select non-profit boards and committees.

Currently, Tami is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Outreach for Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) and is a member of the President’s Cabinet. Prior to beginning at KCKCC in 2015, she was the Marketing and Operations Director for Mechanical Sales Midwest, Inc. (Olathe, KS) and Tech Direct, Inc. (Oklahoma City, OK). Both these companies were started with her husband and have since been transitioned.

Leading by example, either on a team or individually, Tami’s focus is on building an environment of integrity and trust, in which people are empowered to achieve collectively designed future-based goals and outcomes, as well as to realize their individual hopes and aspirations.
