As Speaker of the Kansas House, he has championed tax reform, protected girls’ sports, and worked to ensure election integrity. A Kansas native, he grew up on his grandfather’s dairy farm, served in the Kansas Army National Guard, and built a 30-year career helping Kansans navigate the insurance industry. Since 2013, Dan has represented the 100th District, serving as Majority Leader before being elected Speaker in 2023.
