FIA works with the Unified Government to pinpoint and prioritize areas in need of improvement. A few years ago FIA was approved to have a budget item of $100k per year in the UG Budget to pay for these improvements. Currently we have accrued $227k in the CMIP funding and will use this money to repair Fiberglass Road south of Sunshine Road. Concrete work which includes, sidewalks, curbs and storm inlet repairs will start sometime in December. The mill and overlay for new asphalt will happen in the spring. The last CMIP project FIA had done was on Sunshine Road.
