Thank you to all who came to our recent luncheon at Giving the Basics. This was a great opportunity to learn about this amazing organization that gives back to those in need in Kansas City.
Now it’s your time to give back by setting up a Dignity Drive at your place of business to collect personal items (click here). Giving the Basics will drop off a barrel at your business. It’s a very easy process. Giving the Basics will also track your own company’s donations and also keep track of all Fairfax businesses and FIA associated member businesses as a whole from now until the end Oct 31, 2019. FIA will announce the results at the end of the drive. Let’s show our support to those in need!
Most needed items include bar soap, laundry detergent, toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, toothbrushes, shampoo, feminine products and conditioner.
You can also make a cash donation which Giving the Basics can use to purchase 3x the amount of products thru their vendors.
