The Unified Government Board of Commissioners voted last night to RE-OPEN OUR FAIRFAX FIRE STATION! Plans are to have it re-opened by this November 2022.
FIA has strongly opposed ever closing our fire station and during the time it was closed received quarterly updates on first response times which showed times could not be met according to NFPA guidelines since the Fairfax station was closed.
