Our partner, the KCK Chamber/WCN, is hosting this virtual fund raising event on 11/12/2020. All are welcome to participate.
The Kansas City Kansas Women’s Chamber Foundation (KCKWCF) was established by the historical Kansas City Kansas Women’s Chamber of Commerce in 2014. The purpose of the Foundation as a 501c3 is to provide scholarships to non-traditional women pursuing their education in our community.
To date, the KCKWCF has supported women pursuing degrees in Nursing, Teaching, Social Work, Business, Accounting and Liberal Arts, just to name a few. These women are working to obtain Associate, Bachelor and Master’s degrees from local colleges like Donnelly College, KCKCC, UMKC, Saint Mary’s University and more. In August 2020, the KCKWCF awarded seven $1,000 scholarship and one $500 scholarship to women who needed additional financial support to obtain their goal.
Today, in partnership with the Kansas City Kansas Women’s Chamber Network, the KCKWCF continues to raise money through Purses with a Purpose, supporting women who are accepting the challenge of being successful non-traditional college students.
Please support women in our community by taking part in this FREE virtual event on November 12th with advance raffle tickets on sale now.
Sarah Plake from 41 Action News will be special guest emcee.
