Good news from Community Blood Center!
Beginning Wednesday, December 2 through Wednesday, December 16, 2020, Community Blood Center will be testing all donations made at any of our donor centers for antibodies to COVID-19. If your antibody test is positive, we may contact you to participate in our COVID-19 convalescent plasma (CCP) program. CCP is used to help patients with more serious or life-threatening COVID-19 infections.
Remember, testing is only available at our donor centers (not blood drives). Please click here or call 1.877.468.6844 to make your appointment to donate blood by December 16, 2020.
Donors will receive a letter within two weeks of their donation detailing the results of their antibody test.
We wish you good health and thank you for your continued support!
