THANK YOU TO THE 2017 FAIRFAX FESTIVAL COMMITEE! JOB WELL DONE!
I would like to give special thanks to our 2017 Fairfax Festival Committee. They volunteer their time to meet once a month throughout the year and take on specific event responsibilities, set-up and tear down the entire event and man their own area throughout the event! We would not be able to put on the festival without them! And they do all of this with a cheerful fun attitude! The 2017 Committee Members are:
Adam Schieber, Captial Electric
Diane Smith, Citizens Bank & Trust
Joe Vaught, The Vaught Group
JP Latenser, Neff Packaging
Julie Robertson, YOH
Lisa Bray, Metropolitan Community College
Lori Brenner, Lippert Mechanical
Mike Calwell, Kaw Point Park
Pam Stone, Kansas Gas
Paul Nobrega, Central Solutions
Rachel Chambers, ErgonArmor
Rebecca James, ABOVO
Richard Weast, ABOVO
Also special thanks to the Fairfax Drainage District crew who also work very hard to set up and tear down the event which we could not do without!

A photo booth, designed by Lisa Bray of Metropolitan Community College, was set up for attendees to dress up representing 2 of Fairfax’s historical events: Lewis & Clark camping at Kaw Point Park during their expedition (Lewis, Clark and Sacagawea) and the B-25 Bomber being built in Fairfax during World War II (B-25 bomber pilot or Rosie the Riveter) or just as themselves.
We hope you had a great time! Also, 2018 Sponsorships are now available. Click here for more details.
