HAPPY 100th ANNIVERSARY, FAIRFAX!!!
Since the ribbon cutting for our new Fairfax lights in June, through Fairfax night at the Kansas City Monarchs in July, our special August luncheon with Esther George at the Harry S. Truman Library and our September luncheon celebrating our history at the Wyandotte County Historical Museum, we have certainly made the most of our anniversary year!
Our final party was the Fairfax Festival on Oct. 6 and what a party it was! We ate, we drank, we played lawn games (congrats to our champs Plastic Omnium) we danced to the M-80s and we ended the day with a spectacular fireworks display over the Missouri and Kansas rivers.
Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, fantastic volunteers and our awesome community for a successful year of Celebrating 100 Years of Fairfax!
